υ And b Notes:
19 Oct 2010: Simpson et al. (2010) infer the orbital inclination 58 deg. from the parent star rotation, deriving a planet mass 0.8+0.2-0.1MJ; but the coplanarity of stellar equator with planet orbits is generally not demonstrated.
13 Oct. 06: Detection of day/night variation of thermal emission (Harrington et al. et al., 2006)
20 Apr. 03: Planet in wide (a ~ 750 AU) binary system (Eggenberger et al 2003)
21 May. 02:A M4.5 V stellar companion detected at ~ 750 AU (Lowrance et al. 2002)
22 Nov. 00: From astrometry Han et al. (2000) claim a preliminary mass of 10 MJ and inclination of 155.5o for the planet d.
Circumstellar disk searched for at UKIRT and KECK but not found (Trilling et al.1999, 2000)

Star

Alias HD 9826.
Lowrance et al. (2002) detected an M dwarf companion star (spT M4.5V) 750 AUs away.
08 May 2010: RV measurements also reveal a long-period trend indicating a fourth planet in the system (McArthur et al. 2010).
