Lucas et al. (2022) excluded companions more massive than 20 MJup but not <1-2 MJup planets at 0.5-1.3 AUs through imaging. Astrometric analysis performed by Kiefer et al. (2024a) suggests that a source within 200-500 milliarcseconds (i.e 0.5-1.3 AUs) is inducing proper motion anomalies only partially induced by primary star Sirius A.

Renowned white dwarf companion to bright star Sirius A (spT A1Va), around which it completes a long period (P = 50.1284 ± 0.0043 y), highly eccentric orbit (a = 19.85 AUs, e = 0.591 ± 0.00037).
