Spectral type L8. Rather interesting system made of a nearly equal mass binary brown dwarf very close to a "binary planet" system. GJ 337 D orbits GJ 337 C and both of them revolve around a binary star in circumbinary configuration. Original designation GJ 337 C and D for each substellar components may be translated into "pi1 Cnc (AB)b" for the primary object and "pi1 Cnc (AB)b b" for the secondary.
