HD 222582 forms a triple system with a pair of M dwarfs (LP 703-44 A-B or RAO 31 Ba-Bb, spT M3.5-M4.5V) 4637 ± 59 AUs away (Montes et al. 2018, González-Payo et al. 2024). The two M dwarfs are separated by 0.5 arcseconds (~21 AUs at 42 pc, Riddle et al. 2015).
