25 Oct 2012: According to Currie et al. 2012, the images of the Fomalhaut system are still compatible with a 2 MJup mass dust-enshrouded planet.
22 Sep 2011: Doubts have been raised by Ray Jayawardhana at the Extreme Solar Systems II Conference. New HST observations are planned in 2012.

Presence of several debris disks (Holland et al. 2003). Part of a triple system composed of a mid K dwarf (TW PsA, spT K4.5Ve) and a red dwarf (LP 876-10, spT M4V) about 58,000 and 202,000 AUs away respectively.
