25 Oct 2012: According to Currie et al. 2012, the images of the Fomalhaut system are still compatible with a 2 MJup mass dust-enshrouded planet. 22 Sep 2011: Doubts have been raised by Ray Jayawardhana at the Extreme Solar Systems II Conference. New HST observations are planned in 2012.
See Nature News (E. Hand). 23 Jun. O5: The value a = 40 AU is approximative (Stapelfeldt et al 2004)
Presence of several debris disks (Holland et al. 2003). Part of a triple system composed of a mid K dwarf (TW PsA, spT K4.5Ve) and a red dwarf (LP 876-10, spT M4V) about 58,000 and 202,000 AUs away respectively.
